In this section we’ll be looking at more examples of Super Success in music, starting with Led Zeppelin and ABBA. We will add many more examples as we go along. Update: Childish Gambino has been added at end of page.

Examples of Musical Super Success

Led Zeppelin - Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page is the guitarist who produced Led Zeppelin, the world's most influential rock band with record sales somewhere between 200 to 300 million. He has exceptional composing, guitar, producing and marketing skills. They are all evident in his Magi Astrology analysis. If you've ever seen interviews featuring him, you'll know he also seems like a genuinely nice bloke. This also bears out in the astrology.

In the geocentric longitudes, Jimmy has a grand trine between Pallas, Venus and Pluto - which signifies money (Venus) and power (Pluto) from musical compositions (Pallas). The Venus and Pluto is also a sexual aspect, which helps when you’re involved with rock music.

Jimmy Page also has a conjuncted astrotriangle with Mercury and the Sun at the conjunction, which then trines Chiron and aspects Juno. He (Sun) is a charismatic (Juno and Chiron) career (Chiron) musician (Mercury).

Note that Uranus also rules independence and technology: Jimmy has been fiercely independent in his control of the Led Zeppelin output, as in, ensuring all songs were at least four of five minutes long, so they could not be turned into singles. He had a clear vision of Led Zeppelin being an LP-based outfit.

At the time of the release of Led Zeppelin's first record, transiting Jupiter and Uranus where in a "planetary eclipse" with Page's Neptune. This means Jupiter and Uranus were "on top of" his Neptune, in that they were not only conjunct Neptune, but also parallel in the declinations. This means Super Fame (Jupiter and Uranus) from creativity (Neptune). We now connect that with the remainder of Jimmy's "inventive music" synchronization: Super Fame (Jupiter and Uranus) from energetic (Mars) and inventive (Uranus) music (Neptune) that earns him public acclaim (Uranus and Vesta) and long-term (Neptune) money (Venus) and financial security (Neptune). Notable Synastry with other band members

Robert Plant’s Jupiter/Chiron midpoint, the so-called Cinderella midpoint, is conjunct Page’s “rock conjunction” - the triple conjunction of Vesta, Mars and Uranus. Robert Plant provided Super Career (Jupiter/Chiron) and Super Charisma (Jupiter/Chiron) to Jimmy’s rock energy. In the declinations, Robert Plant has a synch between Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto. In the heliocentric realm, Page has a grouping of Venus, Pluto, Ceres, Uranus and Pallas. Technically speaking, this is actually two separate synchronizations as Venus is too far away from Pluto for it to all hang together. But the overall energy is ambition (Pluto) and the ability to make money (Ceres) from exciting (Uranus) and beautiful (Venus) musical compositions (Pallas).

The “upper” synch is Pallas, Ceres, Uranus and Pluto - while the “lower” synch is Venus, Pallas, Ceres, and Uranus. So in this grouping the direct connection between Venus and Pluto is falling off. In Magi Astrology, Venus and Pluto are both financial planets.

Not only are John Paul Jones' Juno and Neptune conjunct Page's Venus, but they are also placed so they aspect all the other planets in the wide Page grouping. It’s as if they are creating a “bridge” that connects Page’s upper and lower synch. Jones adds creative (Neptune) seduction (Juno) to the synch, which is now also “sexier” as Venus and Pluto are thus connected. He also adds long-lasting (Neptune) ambition (Juno) and artistry (Neptune).

ABBA

When it comes to the Swedish group ABBA, there’s a barrage of powerful synchronizations in the CAC - Combined Alignment Chart - of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus. We will look at some of them here.

This is an interesting synch found in Benny’s geocentric chart. It doesn’t hold any musical energy per se. There are, of course, several synchs in Benny’s charts that represent his massive musical talent. But this synch only speaks of Super Fame (bi-directional Jupiter-Uranus quincunx) and commercialism (Ceres) from beauty (Venus). Next we will see what happens when we add in Bjorn’s planets…

Bjorn has two conjunctions and the asteroid Juno linking in with Benny's synch perfectly. The Mercury-Venus conjunction represents beautiful (Venus) music (Mercury). The Jupiter-Pallas conjunction represents successful (Jupiter) musical compositions (Pallas). Juno adds ambition and also the ability to “cast a spell” into this synchronization. In combination, this planetary synch is loaded with musical success energy.

In the heliocentric latitudes Bjorn and Benny have an alignment around the 1.3 degree mark. NOT SHOWN HERE. Benny’s Mars, Venus, Neptune and Jupiter aligns with Bjorn’s Mercury, Jupiter and Neptune. This translates as: long-term (Neptune) success (Jupiter) and money (Venus) from creative (Neptune) writing (Mercury) and graceful (Jupiter) dancing (Venus and Mars). They have so many alignments between them that signify both musical talent and commercial ability that we’d be here all day if I were to describe them all. But let’s look at one of the commercial ones at least…

In the heliocentric longitudes we find this alignment in Bjorn’s chart. It consists of two conjunctions that are a semi-sextile apart. Bjorn (Earth) can commercialize (Ceres) his musical (Neptune) talent and charisma (Chiron). This is a synchronization that holds both talent and the ability to make money from it. We’ll now see what happens when we add in Benny’s planets…

Benny's Mars, Ceres, Pallas and Saturn are all tying into this synchronization. The pair are a dominant force (Saturn) who are using their energy (Mars) to establish a long-term (Neptune) commercial (Ceres) business (Chiron) based on musical compositions (Pallas). Childish Gambino

Super-talented artist Donald Glover has an exact Jupiter- Uranus conjunction, signifying Super Fame, in his geocentric chart. The two planets are also parallel in the declinations, meaning we have a planetary eclipse multiplying his Super Fame energy by a factor three. His Jupiter-Uranus conjunction takes part in two separate synchronizations.

In the first, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is in a bi-directional quincunx with Juno, which here signifies fantasy and ambition, and Juno is then trine Pallas. We get Super Fame (Jupiter and Uranus) and ambition (Juno) as a fantasy (Juno) composer (Pallas).

In the second, Pallas falls off to be replaced by Saturn and Chiron. Donald Glover has achieved Super Fame (Jupiter and Uranus) in his charismatic (Chiron and Juno) and dominant (Saturn) career (Chiron).

AUSTRALIAN songwriter Sarah Aarons, who now lives in Los Angeles, has written the song The Middle, which has been nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards. While Sarah has worked with several musicians during the production of this song, the most famous is Zedd. So let's take a look at the basic astrology for the two of them.

If we start with Zedd, we'd expect to see a planetary alignment that points to him being a successful composer. We find he has a Mystical Triangle created by Chiron, Pluto and Pallas. This is interpreted as Super Career and Charisma (Chiron-Pluto enhancement) as a composer (Pallas). When we add in Sarah's chart, we find her Jupiter is conjunct his Pluto.
